GuruPoornima Utsava : Indore, 01.08.2015. Gurupoornima, the festival dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers was celebrated by Vivekananda Kendra, Indore at Ram Mandir, Rajendra Nagar. Around 50-60 karyakartas and well wishers were present during the celebration.

Tinsukia Branch of Vivekananda Kendra had organized a special session of Vimarsh on August,17,2015. The programme was arranged as a part of Birth Centenary Celebration of Mananeeya Ekanthaji Ranade, Founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari and was attended by 99 people. The topic of the vimarsh was 'service to humanity is to worship to Divinity which was delivered by Sri Hanumanthraoji, All India treasure, Vivekananda Kendra. In his enlightening and thought provoking speech Hanumanthrowji said that the whole universe is not created by god.

On the occasion of MEJSP, three vkvs’ of Barak Valley namely VKV, Ramnagar, Silchar, VKV, Borojalenga and VKV Badarpur organized a former and present teachers’ meet for the teachers’ of VKVs’ of Barak Valley on 23 august 2015 at VKV, ramnagar, Silchar.  The program started at 10am.

A total of 58 former and present teachers attended the meet, out of which 28 were sisters and 30 were brothers.

The Teachers’ Orientation Camp was organised from 14th to 17th August 2015 at VKV (NEC) Baragolai for the teachers who have completed around 7 years in VKVs of Assam and Nagaland, and also the Principals or Vice Principals of these Vidyalayas. A total of 85 senior teachers (51 gents & 34 ladies) including the heads of the Vidyalayas attended this camp, of which the objective was “Consolidation and Strengthening” of our academic activities.
