This plan of building up a national cadre of young and trained life-workers, so that the entire country is studded with dedicated missionaries from end to end in every sphere of social service, implies the need of large funds. Large amounts would be needed annually not only to maintain the life workers, celibate or married as the case may be but also to equip them with means to organize or carry out tasks entrusted to them. As the number of such workers is bound to increase year after year, the funds will also be needed in greater and greater measure with the passage of time. 

For this, we look to the common people of our country who had, indeed, willingly borne the main financial brunt of the first phase of the memorial plan. As you may be aware, 30 Lakhs of people from all over the country, together; contributed nearly 85 Lakhs of Rupees thought their small donations for building of Vivekananda Rock Memorial. We appeal again to the common man to be a patron of this movement.

Vivekananda Kendra formed a trust by name Vivekananda Kendra Pratishthan mainly to look after the training and Yogakshema of the full time workers. These workers after the training are sent various branches of Vivekananda Kendra to undertake the nation building activities. We hope that with the kind support and prayers from our vibrant and socially aware society, hundreds of full time Jeevanvrati and Sevavrati Karyakarta will come and lakhs and lakhs of patrons will provide a sound financial basis to Pratishthan.
