Today, we have distributed the essential commodities to 55 families and also brifed them about precautions for COVID 19. We also talked to them regarding their other basic problems in survival.

• Vivekanadna Kendra NRL Hospital staff donated their minimum one day pay - Rs 3,44,266/- to Assam COVID-19 Relief Fund (Assam Arogya Nidhi)
• Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kallubalu : Kits distribution and community kitchen wholly supported by Alumni and parents wherein Police come and take cooked food and distribute to the needy. Almost 3000 people are daily given food.
• Vivekananda Kendra Mysuru : More than 208 food material kits are distributed.
• Vivekananda Kendra Nagole : 29 March 2020 - Through Amrutha Surabhi, Nagole collected and distributed essential items like rice, dal (lentils) and tamarind to 25 families of daily wage workers in Fathullaguda Survey number 58 , Nagole.
@ 5 to 8 Kgs of Rice, 1 kg of dall and 1/4 kg tamarind Distributed to each family .
• Vivekananda Kendra Dilsukhnagar : Ever since the lockdown was announced -
1. daily breakfast to 150 migrant workers/ truck drivers (hundreds of have been halted due to lockdown).
2. For families in 2 slums: Rations and cash (so some things they might require they can buy)- Mns + Malakpet, Santoshnagar, etc are 2 of Covid-19 hotspots in Hyd and areas have been barricaded. Weekly supply of ration is more feasible.
3. Lunch to Elderly/ extremely poor people
• Vivekananda Kendra Vijayawada :
1. From 7 April 2020- Daily Kashayam to patients in quarantine centres - initially 2 centres; will be scaled to atleast 5 centres
2. On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti - paada puja and distribution of new clothes to sanitation women workers
• Vivekananda Kendra Shimla : helps local government body in Medical Survey.
- Vivekananda Kendra Madurai : Ration kits containing rice, wheat, rice flour, dal, turmeric powder, oil, soap and masks were distributed for 10 needy families

- The food kits and community kitchen services are rendered in Kanyakumari Dist, Jigni, Mysuru, Shimla, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Durgapur, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Phulera, Vijaywada costing approx Rs 26.48 lacs.
- We are ready and prepared to offer our Hospitals, school campuses and buildings for temporary /makeshift COVID 19 Hospital / quarantine centers in all the schools of Vivekananda Kendra in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andaman Islands, Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.

1 : Bhilwara - has distributed 350 Ration kits till today to the needy families.
2 : Kanyakumari - distributed 975 kgs rice, 100 kgs dal for serving the affected people.
3 : VKV Kallubalu - started community kitchen where 800 people are served food everyday. 50 Kits also are being distributed.
4 : Palitana - distributed 100 kits
5 : Delhi - 500 KG Aata, 500 Kg Rice, 200 Kg Dal, 100 litres Edible oil, 6000 ml Sanitiser, Total Karyakarta involved : 20, Total beneficiary : 887.
6 : Mysuru - 45 packets is distributing food kits and masks and also some other material needed for children and others.
7 : Jammu - “Ration Distribution Drive” go which already started yesterday from Sainik Colony Jammu. Till now we have procured : 800 KG Flour (Aata), 1300 KG Rice, 80 bottles Mustard oil 200 ml,
8 : Lucknow - 575 beneficiaries, 300 food packets distributed.
9 : Bhubaneswar & AICYAM - 133 ration kits
10 : Shimla – Rice, Dal, Ata, Oil, Biscuit, Milk, Potato has been distributed to 80 labours of Bhihar, Chattigarh, Jarkhand.
