Focusing only on the environment would not help serve the cause of Sustainable Development. Along with it, the economy and society too have to be taken into consideration when we aim for achieving development that also secures the needs of future generations.
Su.Sri Usha didi and Shri.Karthikji were the spontaneous chief guests . the programme was conducted with discipline and exhuberant enthusiasm. Even the small [ mimary ] students maintained silence and discipline. The vote of thanks was delivered by Nikhil sir. The programme was concluded with Shantimantra. It was a beautiful, short and sweet celebration, which was enjoyed by every one.
How true is the saying! Only those who have treaded the same path will understand the true meaning of these words. Since its inception, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari has literally lived this saying. All its projects are designed and oriented towards the upliftment of the underprivileged with the active participation of the community. It is the community which understands the problems they face better than any outsider, so the community must come together to actively participate in the mitigation of the same.
On 10th November evening, one CME was arranged and Doctors from Dibrugarh were invited to attend the CME. The objective was to create awareness for Cochlear Implant. Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva gave a power point presentation on Cochlear Implant and had some lively interaction with the Doctors of Dibrugarh. 15 Doctors participated in the programme.

The mobile medical team of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti conducted three screening camps to identify patients for operations. 52 patients were examined during the screening camps and 25 patients were selected for surgeries. Out of them 20 were operated and rest 5 were medically treated.

This sublime ideal espoused by Swamiji was amply reflected in our work spanning a year 2017-18 (financial). In a world that is today buffeted by small and great forces which are subversive and divisive, our work in different areas attested to our belief in his deeply meaningful thoughts.
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti organized two Free Medical Camps at Lekang circle of Namasai district, Arunachal Pradesh on 3rd and 4th September 2018. On 3rd Sept. the camp was organized at Rongalibeel, a remote flood affected area of Lekang circle.
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti in association with Rotary Club, Tinsukia organized one Free Multispecialty Mega Medical Camp at Diyun of Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh on 12th August.
