Vivekananda Kendra, Arun Jyoti Rupa branch have conducted One Day Personality Development Camp at Govt. Higher Sec. School, Nafra.94 students delightly participated in this camp.Ex M.P Kiren Rijiju was the chief guest, he told the students that to follow the ideals of Swamiji’s to know the light of life. E.A.C. of Nafra was the Guest of honour of this camp. The main motto of this camp was to develop personality & to unfold the real potential within them, which is present in each soul as said by Swamiji’s.

To celebrate the 150th Birthday of Swami Vivekananda in a grand way, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya and Rural Development Program, Vallioor organized Vivek Mithra 2012 –a Mega 5000 Suryanamaskar Program - on 24th January 2012 at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vallioor premises with the purpose to instill Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts, self confidence, inner courage and service attitude in the students. Over 4000 students from 21 schools of Tirukurangudi,Dhalapathisamudram,Thiruvenkadanathapuram, VadakkanKulam,Eruvadi, Nanguneri, Panagudi, Kottaiadi and Vallioor performed;and 90 teachers and 400 people witnessed them.

Swami Vivekananda jayanti celebrated in DombivliVivekananda Kendra Dombivli celebrated Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary on Dec 12,2012. The celebrations was organised with participation of school students from 22 schools in Dombivli.

As part of Medical Service everymonth Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development program is organizing Eye-camp. This month it was organized at 4th January (2012) at Vivekananda Kendra Avaikoodam, Kanyakumari. The camp was sponsored by Sudarshan Men's Wear, Nagerkovil .

Vivekananda Kendra & Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya celebrated 149th Birth day of Swami Vivekananda, Annual day of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya & National Youth day. Swami Vivekananda as national monk wanted the younger generation to strive hard to uplift our nation & make our Bharat ‘Jagath Guru’. The whole idea behind the youth festival was to propagate the concept of national integration, spirit of brotherhood & adventure among the youth.

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा जयपुर एवं एस एस जैन सुबोध पी जी महाविद्यालय के द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानन्दजी के जन्म जयन्ती १४९ वी के वर्ष पर्व पर ’’एक विषाल युवा षक्ति जागरण’’ सम्मेलन सुबोध पीजी महाविद्यालय में आयोजित हुआ। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि श्री राजेन्द्र जी भाणावत ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द की प्रासांगिकता को बताते हुए कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द एक ऐसे युवा संन्यासी थे जिन्होंने अपने मोक्ष के लिए नहीं अपितु भारत देश के लिए ध्यान किया लेकिन बड़े दुःख की बात है कि अखबारो ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द के विचारों व फोटो को बहुत कम स्थान दिया। इसी के साथ ही मुख्य वक्ता श्री भरतराम जी कुम्हार ने कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द एक ऐसे देशभक्त थे जिन्होंने विदेश में जाकर भारतीय संस्कृति विरासत व
परम्पराओं को दुनिया के सम्मुख रखा।

Vivekananda Kendra Kanykumari, Jammu Branch celebrated 149th birthday of Swami Vivekananda at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Anand Nagar, Bohri, Jammu on 12th January 2012 from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. The function was attended by 63 prominent persons of Jammu who have been inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Several youth were also present including the other participants.
