The State level Inter VKV Bhagawad Gita Chanting Competition for the VKVs of Arunachal Pradesh was held at VKVAPT, Dibrugarh on the Gita Jayanti day, 13 December, 2013. A total number of 26 Cluster level winners from the VKVs Itanagar, Oyan, Seijosa, Roing, Sher, Shergaon, Bana ,Jairampur ,Nivedita Vihar, Sunpura, Yazali, Vivek Vihar, Tafrogam, Wessang, Joram , Shergaon, Nirjuli participated in the Competition in four categories. The flawless chanting of the participants bewitched all the listener.

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti recently conducted a few Medical Camps in Longding and Tirap district. As most of the villagers of Longding circle are suffering from seasonal diseases like influenza, cold,viral fever and some casualities were there, the Mobile Medical team of Arun Jyoti conducted two Medical Camps at Niausa and Senua villages on 4th and 5th December 2013 respectively. .
Sadhana Diwas, birth day of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Vivekananda Kendra, celebrated in Haryana Prant on 1st December 2013 in Chotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Sonipat. All together 51 karyakartas from 7 district assembled for the first time under the banner of Vivekananda Kendra. Shri. Anil ji, Prant Sanyojak gave the brief report of Swami Vivekananda Saardh Shati Samaroh (SVSSS) in Haryana and also shared the idea of continuing this work of Swami Vivekananda under the flag of Vivekananda Kendra.
TO commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of “Swami Vivekananda Sardh Shati Samaroh Samiti’’ (SVSSSS) organised a unique two-day National Conference of Vice Chancellors on ‘Swami Vivekananda on Education – Vision for National Resurgence’ om November 16 & 17 in New Delhi. The two-day conference was attended by Vice-Chancellors, Chancellors and Directors of Central, State, deemed and private universities and various renowned educationists from all over the country.
