Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Madurai Brach, conducted a Yoga Satra from August 27 to September 5, 2023 at Andalpuram.
The Satra took place on the terrace of Prasidha Block in Vasudhara Apartment Complex, Andalpuram. Six people participated in this 10 days yoga satra and learned & practiced yoga with great interest.
The concluding session of the Satra was held on 5th September, 2023. Kendra Karyakartha Sri. Saravanakumar Ji participated in the event and addressed the participants, delivering profound thoughts in a brief speech.
One of the Participants, Shri. Sathyamurthy Ji took a resolution made a resolution to reach out to his connections and organize yoga classes for them in his locality in the future.
Participants assured that they would take yoga to more people in the future by working together with Kendra, and they expressed a sense of missed opportunity in having encountered Kendra at a late phase in life.
Participants also expressed their realization that they used to believe yoga was only beneficial when performed correctly physically. However, they now understand its significant societal benefits when practiced with the right mental approach.
