Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West Bengal Prant, Eknath Vibhag, Vande Mataram Karyastan, organized a Universal Brotherhood Day programme at Hooghly Women's College, Pipulpati, on 20th September 2024. A total of 330 people attended the event.
As part of the Universal Brotherhood Day celebration, a music and recitation competition was held on 16th September. A total of 184 participants registered, with 151 appearing in the competition, organized into four groups across two categories. The results were announced, and prizes and certificates were distributed during this main program on 20th September. The eight judges and two tabla players involved in the competition were also felicitated during the event.
The program featured Swami Vidyanandaji Maharaj, Sah Sampadak of Ramakrishna Vedanta Math, Adaraneeya Malabika Didi, Sah Prant Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra, Paschimbanga Prant, and Smt. Sima Banerjee, Principal of Hooghly Women's College, who shared valuable insights inspired by Swami Vivekananda. Adaraneeya Vishwasji Lapalkar, Prant Sangathak of Vivekananda Kendra, Paschimbanga Prant, was also present at the event.
The Karyastan team worked diligently to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the program.
