Vivekananda Kendra Delhi organized a personality development camp on 24th may to 26th may at M.H.D.C. Saraswati Bal Mandir, B-1, Janakpuri, Delhi. There were had 73 participants, and 27 karyakartayas out of which 68 were brothers and 31 sisters. 100 people were divided into the 7 groups out of which 3 groups were of sisters (girls) and 4 were of brothers (boys).
On the auspicious occasion of 150th birth anniversary of swami Vivekananda, we named the groups on the names of important persons in swamiji’s life like his father shri Vishwanath Dutt, mother Bhuvnesvari Devi, guru Thakur Ramakrishna parmhans, guru mata maa Sarda, diciple Bhagni Nividita, and the person who gave name Vivekananda to swami ji that is Maharaja Ajit Singh. Over all day of schedule, participants wake up in the morning around 5 am and had various activities during the day like yoga, lectures, games, group discussions, presentation etc. On 24th may, the first lecture was delivered by Manas Bhattacharjee,assti. sectrory of VIF on the topic "Mai Hi Vivekananda - I am Vivekananda" and through various incidents from swami ji’s life, he tried to enlighten all. On 25th may Mrs Savita Vasudev delivered lecture on "Swami Vivekanda Vaktitw Vikas Ke Aadhar" and through various interesting stories, she enlighten us about the topic. On 26th may the first lecture session was taken by Mr. Ajay Kant ji on "Safal Jeevan Ka Rahasya". He also shared his ideas about successful life and various tips for students. Apart form these lecture sessions participant perform Samuhik SuryaNamaskar. Various personality development games, stories and activites were part of camp.
