Vivekananda Kendra's Kallubalu branch is completing its 25th year of its service to people in and around Jigni, Karnataka. Beside that, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kallubalu is completing 10 years of its establishment.
October-2010 Newsletter has been uploaded on website. This Newsletter apart from regular activities update also has nice insights into the problem of environmental crisis that the world is facing.

The Ziro Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) School on November 22 released the first volume of its souvenir called ‘Harmony, Vol-I’ compiled and written by the Orators’ Club of the school. The souvenir was released by Yachang Tacho, editor of The Subansiri weekly news paper here in a glittering function.

The report for the activities, conducted by VKRDP, during the month of OCTOBER 2010 is detailed below, for your kind information:
A Competition for College Students is organised on the occasion of National Youth Day in which Students will study Life and Massage of Swami Vivekananda and then Participate in Different Competitions and Group Discussions to highlight the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
A Public Function is organised on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti - National Youth Day, i.e. 12th January 2011, 6 pm at Padmavati Kalyan Mandpam, State Bank of Hyderabad Colony, Gaddianaram, Hyderabad.
As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda, the National hero of the Youth of India, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari has launched a massive youth contact programme. The movement has been named as ‘Vijay Hi Vijay’ – throughout the country, to take the life and message of Swami Vivekananda to the youth of India.
