The Teju Branch of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti is organized Vimarsha (A dialogue for Creative Leaders). The topic was “SERVE MEN SERVE GOD”.

This month in our newsletter you can see how the local traditions can be revived for the protection of the bio-diversity and social coherence. What we have presented are excerpts from our publication, published as part of 'Green Rameshwaram' and the UNICEF WaSH initiative. They are also part of the panels in the awareness creation exhibition conducted at  various places in the island of Rameshwaram. In our 'Happenings' we have Azolla workshop, workshops on indigenous Varma-Bone setting techniques, Bio-methanation plant training and awareness camps.

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti organized training camps for Balsevikas, Anandalaya Acharyas and Health Workers at VKV, Jairampur. The camp was inaugurated on 3rd April 2015 by Sri H.Matcha, Retd. ADC of Tirap.

It was in the year 1992 that Vivekananda Kendra had the unique blessing of taking Swami Vivekananda all through India, along the same route that Swamiji himself had taken hundred years earlier. It was this historic parikrama that finally led Swamiji to Sri Padaparai (now renowned as Vivekananda Rock) sitting where he had visualised the regeneration of India as a global spiritual force.

Parry Agro has tea easte near Tezpur. People of Parry Agro had visited Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tezpur on 26th March 2015.

As a part of Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Sati Parva , the founder of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, a Free Eye Screening Camp was organized at Deomali Community Health Centre of Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on 27th March 201

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Branch Tezu has organized “PARIKSHA DE HASTE HASTE five day Workshop” for the Students of Indira Gandhi Govt. College, Tezu on 12th to 16th March 2015 at college Auditorium.

There are many things to share with you all. Let me give brief highlights of all the important activities of January and February for the information of all:- 

Celebration of National Youth Day: National Youth Day was celebrated in grand manner in all the VKVs of Arunachal Pradesh which were witnessed by a large numbers of parents and well wishers along with students.  Students presented Cultural programs in all the schools. Many dignitaries graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari organised 168th Free Eye Camp at Kanyakumari on 4th March 2015.
