Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, participated in the programme organized by the Swami Vivekananda Study Center of Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Bengaluru, on 28th January 2026, in connection with the celebration of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. The programme also featured the Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Swadhyaya Competition conducted by Vivekananda Kendra. Around 300 students and faculty members attended the programme.
The Swadhyaya Competition was organized with the objective of encouraging self-study and inspiring students to imbibe the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. During the ceremony, the winners of the competition were felicitated and awarded prizes in the presence of the gathering. The recognition of the students’ efforts served as a motivation for the wider student community to cultivate the habit of reflective study and character-building.
The programme concluded with a renewed sense of inspiration among the participants, reinforcing Swami Vivekananda’s ideal of “Man-Making and Nation-Building” among the youth on the campus.
