Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Madurai Brach, celebrated Krishna Jayanti at Kendra Karyalaya, TVS Nagar on 6th September 2023. A total of 180 people enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
The program began with a prayer followed by bhajans. The students of Anandalaya and Samskar Varga performed a skit on Sri Krishna, which was very captivating. Ninety-five children participated, dressed as Krishna and Radha, and all of them were given a chance to perform in front of everyone. They were presented with tokens of appreciation. The Headmistress of TVS Higher Secondary School, Smt. N. Vidhyavathi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She observed all the children and appreciated their performances. The program concluded with the Shanti Mantra, followed by Prasada for all attendees.
