ZPVKV, Shorepoint celebrated the 9th International yoga day on 21st june,2023.First of all our Headmistress Smti.Sita Das had explained about the importance of yoga and yoga day.one of the teacher Mr.J.Rakesh has demonstrated Surya Namaskar along with 04 standing and 04 sitting asanas to all the participants.All the students, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents were actively done the yoga asanas with full of joy and enthusiasm.At last we conclude our 1hr program by shanti mantra.

Zillaparishad Vivekananda Kendra vidyalaya Ferrargunj celebrated IYD on 21st June 2023.our teachers, students, and parents participated in the yoga. International yoga day to promote the practice of yoga and it's physical and mental well being benefits.
VKZPV Kadamtala, North and Middle Andaman
On 21st June (Wednesday) our school celebrated international yoga day in school premises along with secondary students and teaching and non teaching staff. Under the supervision of C.L. Kushwaha, we started three times omkara, we did Suriya namaskar by chanting mantra , Kapal bharati, anulom - velom and we did few asanas on sitting position and standing position. Sir has focus on the benefits of yoga and asanas and give some information about balance diet. We end our program by doing meditation and Shanti Mantra.

Students ,teacher,parents, were called at 6:50 am in the morning.Exactly by 7:00 am the yoga was started ,all the participants do it with full enthusiastically .Different physical postures ,breathing exercises and meditation had been practiced.The benefits of yoga to improve overall health had been discussed
Port Blair
International day of Yoga was observed in our Vidyalaya on 21st June 2023.Teachers, students, parents and the members Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industries participated in the Yoga demonstration. An Essay and Drawing Competition was organized on the theme Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in which many students enthusiastically took part. An article on Yoga & International Day of Yoga was also published in our school's e-newsletter. Teachers and students participated in the Yoga Quiz organized by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with the mygov platform and received e-certificates.
