Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Kempegowda Vibhag, Hebbal Nagar, organized Students’ Competitions on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day on 11 September 2026 at Sri Sharada Vidyalaya. The programme was held from 9:20 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and witnessed the participation of 53 students, 4 teachers and 8 Karyakartas.
The programme commenced with a brief introduction on the significance of Universal Brotherhood Day and Swami Vivekananda’s historic message of the oneness of humanity. Competitions were conducted in Patriotic Song, Debate and Essay Writing, with the common theme “Swami Vivekananda as an Inspiration to Students.”
The students participated enthusiastically and came well-prepared for the competitions. Through their songs, discussions and writings, they confidently expressed their understanding of Swami Vivekananda’s life, message and ideals.
The programme provided a meaningful opportunity for the students to learn more about Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring message and reflect on the values of Universal Brotherhood, unity and harmony.
