Vivekananda Kendra Arun-Jyoti, Aalo Branch in Arunachal Prant, celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th September 2025 to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago on 11 September 1893. The programme witnessed the participation of 250 students along with karyakartas and well-wishers.
The programme began with the chanting of three Omkaras and Sahanavavatu, followed by the lighting of the lamp. Shri Doi Kamduk Ji delivered the welcome address, after which Shri V. N. Sharma Ji highlighted the significance of Universal Brotherhood in the present times.
The chief guest, Shri Kardak Riba Ji, SP Aalo, in his address, elaborated on the objectives of celebrating Universal Brotherhood Day and the timeless message of Swami Vivekananda. A patriotic song, Desh Hame Deta Hai Sab Kuch, was sung with great fervour by all participants.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Shri Lojen Kamcham Ji, followed by the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.
The celebration created a spirit of unity, devotion, and commitment to Swamiji’s ideals among the students and attendees.
