Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation (VK-VVF), Kodungallur, and Sandeepani Sisuvihar, celebrated Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi Jayanti with a Matru Puja. The event was held at the VK-VVF Karyalaya in Kodungallur on 2nd January 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A total of 30 people, including 13 children and 13 mothers, participated in the event.
The program was inaugurated by Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director of VK-VVF, who lit the lamp and delivered a message to the children and their families. Didi emphasized the importance of embracing Mathrutvam (Motherhood) and shared a brief overview of Maa Sarada Devi’s life.
The celebration saw the participation of the children of Sandeepani Sisuvihar along with a few alumni of the program. The children performed the Matru Puja with great shradda and devotion, and the mothers lovingly blessed the children during the ceremony.
