Vivekananda Kendra Madurai conducted a sampark programme titled 'Arise! Awake! Aware!' on 25th July 2023 at Rotary Club of Dindigul Queen City, Dindigul. The purpose of the programme was to initiate and expand the Kendra activities in Dindugal Samparksthan.
The program started at 12 noon with a prayer, followed by games, and then a PPT session by Smt. Dr. Geeta, Sahitya Seva Pramukh, on 'Vivekananda Kendra and the story of Vivekananda Rock Memorial.' The session concluded with Smt. Lakshmi, Karyakartha, VK Madurai, offering suggestions for follow-up work, mainly focusing on Yoga Satra and Amrutha Parivar. Su. Sumitra Didi, Tamil Nadu Pravaas Pramukh, also graced the occasion.
The Chief Guests were Smt. Anu Rajan, President of Rotary Club, and Smt. Amrita Sanchai, Secretary of Rotary Club Queen City. 18 members of the Rotary Club participated in the programme.
