Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Gujarat Prant, Rajkot Vibhag, Rajkot Branch organized a Samarth Shikshak Yoga Pratiman at Innovative International School in Rajkot.
Mananeeya Sri Eknathji Ranade established Yoga as the core of Vivekananda Kendra. The Kendra aims to promote yoga in its true essence, not just as physical exercise, but as a way of life based on the vision of oneness. Vivekananda Kendra conducts various yoga shibirs, courses, yoga satras, and yoga pratimans across Bharat. The Kendra has also designed specific Yoga Modules or Yoga Pratimans, tailored to different groups. Samarth Shikshak Yog Pratiman is one such module, specially designed for teachers.
The Samarth Yoga Pratiman at Innovative International School was held on 12th and 13th November 2024, with 50 teachers and 13 karyakarthas participating. Aadharneeya Sri Mahipat Ji, Gujarat Prant Sahitya Pramukh, and Aadharneeya Shital Didi led the sessions. The teachers were introduced to various yogic techniques that could be beneficial in their profession.
Mananeeya Sri Bhanudas Ji, the General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Aadharneeya Sri Lokesh Ji, Sah Prant Sangathak of Gujarat Prant, and Sri Vivek Ji Sinhar, School Trustee, graced the event as special attendees.
