Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Jigani Niyojit Nagarsthan, organized a Parivar Milan on December 13, 2023, at one of the parents’ home in Jigani, Madappa layout. Totally 19 people participated in the programme.
The event commenced with a prayer, followed by parents introducing themselves. Aadharneeya Lalita Didi elaborated on Vivekananda Kendra's service activities and highlighted key aspects from the book ‘Kutumba Prabodhana.’ Mothers also shared insights about various celebrations and festivals, particularly from North Karnataka. Aadharneeya Lalita Didi proposed forming groups to organize activities like Bhajan Sandhya, collective festival celebrations, and attending Kendra varga. The group was named ‘Honna Devi Gangadhareshwara.’
Games were played engaging everyone enthusiastically. The meeting concluded with the Shanti Mantra, followed by the distribution of Prasad to all. Invitations were extended to visit our Vidyalaya for the Gita Jayanti celebration, receiving a positive response from the parents.
