Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Odisha Prant, Jyoti Vibhag, Rourkela Branch, celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2025 to honor the Jayanti of Veer Sanyasi Swami Vivekananda.
The celebrations were conducted at multiple venues, with the following participation:
- Government Autonomous College: 70 participants
- RDA Park, Chhend: 12 participants
- GRP Training School, Railway Colony: 200 participants
- Sai Mandir, Shakti Nagar: 42 participants
- Municipal College: 100 participants
Total Participation: 424 participants
The program aimed to inspire youth and cultivate patriotism through various activities. A rally was organized to spread Swami Vivekananda's message, followed by thought-provoking lectures on topics like Samarth Bharat Parva and Samarth Yuva se Samarth Bharat, emphasizing his relevance to today’s younger generation. The celebration also included a poster-making competition, fostering creativity and engagement among participants.
Through these vibrant activities, the event successfully highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, motivating the youth to contribute to the vision of a strong and empowered nation. The National Youth Day celebration promoted the message of youth-driven progress and national development.
