Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Tirap Vibhag, Changlang Nagar celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day on 12 January 2026. The programme was organized to commemorate the life, ideals, and teachings of Swami Vivekananda and to inspire the youth to pursue character building, self-discipline, dedicated service, and nation-building.
The programme was graced by Shri Dusu Genda Ji, DACO, Changlang, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the contemporary relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s message and encouraged the youth to imbibe his values in their daily lives.
The celebration witnessed active participation from various sections of the community. A total of 23 Balwadi parents, 21 students along with 2 teachers from Sree Rangfraa Vidya Niketan, and 6 students from Government Town Middle School, Nadipar attended the programme. In addition, 12 karyakartas, including Vibhag Pramukh Shri N. Songthing Ji, and 3 teachers from VKV Changlang were present. Altogether, 67 participants took part in the celebration, making the programme meaningful and successful.
