Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch organized Mathru Puja at Duraisamypuram Balwadi in Tenkasi on 10th October, 2023. 19 parents along with their children participated in the programme.
All the children did Paatha pooja to their mother with respect and devotion. Mathru Puja is deeply rooted in Indian culture and traditions. It reinforces the importance of family values and respect for parents. Alongside this event, parents' meetings and Kendra Varga were also conducted. Sri. Paramaguru ji, the Secretary of VK-RDP Kovilpatti was also present.
