Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kallubalu (Karnataka Prant) buzzed with energy as students of the Personality Development Camp organized two vibrant activities Makkala Sante (Children’s Market) and Cooking Without Fire on 15th April 2026. The event saw a total attendance of 70 participants, including students, Karyakartas, and parents.
The program was graced by distinguished guests, including Smt. Nethravathi Didi, Founder of Genius Public School, Bengaluru, Smt. Savitri Didi, Ex-teacher, and parent representative Sri Basaveshwara ji, whose presence motivated the young participants.
The Makkala Sante served as a platform for students to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The children set up stalls featuring an array of handmade crafts, alongside healthy offerings like fresh juices and nutritious snacks. Simultaneously, the Cooking Without Fire activity challenged the students to prepare wholesome, homemade dishes without the use of heat. The participants demonstrated impressive culinary skills and a deep awareness of healthy eating practices, presenting beautifully arranged salads and innovative raw food recipes. The active involvement of parents, who provided constant encouragement and support, significantly contributed to the festive atmosphere.
The day concluded successfully, leaving the children with practical life skills and a sense of accomplishment in their journey of self-development.
