Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Maharashtra Prant, Paschim Maharashtra Vibhag, Sangli Branch organized a Keertan Programme on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. The event was held on 21st January 2025, coinciding with Swami Vivekananda’s Janma Tithi as per the Hindu calendar (Paush Krishna Paksha Saptami). A total of 45 people participated in this devotional gathering.
The program commenced with Shri Siddhant Ji reciting a prayer, setting a devotional tone for the evening. This was followed by Shri Kapil Ji, who shared Vivek Vichar—Swamiji’s inspiring thoughts—and rendered a devotional song.
The Keertan was conducted by Shri Sunil Kulkarni ji, who led the audience through a spiritually enriching session. In the first part, he spoke on the glory of the Guru (Guru mahima. In the second part, he narrated significant incidents from Swami Vivekananda’s life, seamlessly integrating them with Swamiji’s philosophical insights.
The event was further graced by the presence of Shri Manoj ji, Maharashtra Prant IT Pramukh, and Shri Sharad Ji, Paschim Maharashtra Vibhag Pramukh, whose guidance and support added to the significance of the occasion.
