Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Haryana Prant, Rewari Vibhag, Rohtak Branch organized 10th International Day of Yoga programs at four places in Rohtak district in Haryana, with a total participation of 175 people.
A yoga training session in association with Patanjali Shikshak Samiti was held at Patanjali Shikshak Samiti, Double Park, Model Town from 13th to 21st June, 2024. The sessions were conducted daily from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. 30 participants attended the sessions regularly.
On 16th June, a program was organized in Bali village with 20 participants. The following day, 17th June, another program was held in Asan village with 25 participants. On 21st June, the International Day of Yoga program was organized at Government College for Women, Rohtak, starting at 8 a.m., with 100 students actively participating. Dr. Sheetal from the college graced the occasion as the Special Guest.
Through these celebrations, Vivekananda Kendra aims to bring Yoga to the general public in its true essence, i.e., Yoga as a way of life based on the vision of Oneness. As a follow-up, daily Asana sessions and weekly Pranayam sessions are planned in Double Park to continue nurturing the practice and principles of Yoga among the participants.
