Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, organized the bi-annual Ignited Youth Forum (IYF) Conference 2024 from 11 th to 13 th October 2024 at the Vivekananda Kendra College for
Teachers Education, Nirjuli, Papumpare District. The three-day conference brought together 92 Karyakartas (44 brothers and 48 sisters) from Ignited Youth Forum units across Arunachal Pradesh.
The event began with Kendra Varga, followed by reporting from the Karyakartas. This was followed by a Bhajan Sandhya and Parichay Satra (introduction session) in the presence of Adharneeya Taba Tatup Ji, Arunachal
Prant Vyavastha Pramukh.
On 12 th October 2024, the Inaugural Session of the IYF Conference started. It was presided over and blessed by Mananeeya Nivedita Didi, All-India Vice President of VRM & VK and Padma Shree awardee. The session featured inspiring insights from Adharneeya Rupesh Mathur Ji, Arunachal Prant Sangathak, and Adharneeya Priyanka Gupta Didi, Arunachal Prant Sah Sangathak.
Throughout the conference, the achievements of various IYF units were showcased through PPT presentations from all the Vibhags: Tirap, Lohit, Siang, Kameng, and Subansiri. The conference aimed to empower young minds, foster
spiritual growth, and promote a sense of social responsibility among the youth. At present, there are 7 Ignited Youth Forum units covering 15 colleges and universities, with 168 Dayitvavan Karyakartas actively engaged in this forum.
More IYF units are set to be launched in other colleges and universities where Vivekananda Kendra Karyakartas are pursuing their education.
The PPT presentations detailed significant achievements since the last ‘Vijay Hi Vijay’ shibir held in 2023. According to the report, 27 schools were covered under the Arise-Awake annual Swadhyaya (book-based) competition, involving seventy four IYF Karyakartas. Under the “Chale Gao Ki Or” program, 17 villages were reached. Other notable initiatives taken up by the Ignited Youth Forum included PDC camps, Vimarsh programs, interaction sessions, cleanliness drives, participation in World Tourism Day, and operating help desks for new students at their colleges. The forum also contributed to Vivekananda Kendra Utsavas and national festivals like Diwali celebration.
The conference was further enriched by the presence of esteemed guests who motivated and inspired the Karyakartas with their speeches and experiences.
Among them was Group Captain Mohonto Pangging Pao VM (Retd.), who is also the Nagar Sanchalak of Vivekananda Kendra, East Siang District. The concluding session was graced by Shri Pem Norbu Thundok, Commandant of the 3rd IRBN, Seijosa, and an alumnus of VKV Shergaon. He is also the founder Karyakarta of the Ignited Youth Forum at Pasighat JNC in 2003-2004. Shri Tara Dajam, Arunachal Prant Sah Yuva Pramukh, was also present. Overall, the conference was a resounding success—exemplary, inspiring, and captivating for all the Karyakartas in attendance.
