Vivekananda Kendra Swasthya Seva Sadan(VKSSS), Laipuli, Tinsukia organized Guru Purnima on 3rd July 2023 at Laipuli Kaptanchuk Gaon in association with Takauguri Gopini Namghar Samiti . The program started with Puja and offering by the elderly women of Kaptanchuk village followed by Three Omkar, Shanti Path and Guru Vandana by the VKSSS team members. Chief Guest, Retd. Colonel of Indian Army Chaitanya Gohain was honored with a Gamocha and memento by Dr. V.S. Tungar, Medical Administrator of VKSSS. Dr. Debashis Dey Adhikary delivered the welcome speech and explained the significance of the day. He highlighted about the service activities of Vivekananda Kendra and urged the community to involve in Kendra activities. Sri Lakhi Narayan Goswami, Principal of VKV, Tinsukia gave a brief lecture on Guru Purnima and said that from ancient time we are maintaining Guru parampara. The Namghar women group gave a very nice and lively performance through a Diha Naam, a religious prayer song of Motok Community. Smt. Pratibha Neog, our well wisher and a social worker presented a beautiful deliberation on Sri Sri Aniruddha Dev, the Guru of Motok Community. Sri Jayanta Neog, Principal, Senairam H.S. School of Tinsukia and Sri Milan Gohain, a retd. Railway employee also spoke on this occasion. They appreciated the noble humanitarian services provided by VK Swasthya Seva Sadan. On his concluding speech Retd. Colonel Chaitanya Gohain expressed his satisfaction for the services provided by VKSSS to the needy people of the nearby villages. He told how Sri Sri Aniruddha Dev influenced the Motok Community through his spiritual power and united the community. The two hour long program was concluded with Shanti Mantra followed by Prasad distribution. More than 80 persons participated in the program.
