Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Mandya Karyasthan organized the Gita Jayanti Celebration on 30 November 2025 at Guru Jnana Vidyalaya, Hosahalli, Mandya. The programme was attended by a total of 35 participants, including 25 children and 10 elders.
As part of the celebration, a recitation competition of the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita was conducted for children, encouraging them to engage with the sacred text and understand its spiritual significance. The activity generated enthusiasm among the young participants and fostered an atmosphere of devotion and learning.
During the programme, the concept of Amrit Pariwar of Vivekananda Kendra was introduced and briefly explained to the gathering. As a follow-up to the programme, it was decided to initiate Sankul formation at Hosahalli, Mangala, and Chikke Gowdana Doddi, thereby expanding the outreach of Amrit Pariwar in the region.
