Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, VK Rural Development Programme and VK Thoothukudi Branch, conducted a flood relief program at the Vivekananda Kendra Thoothukudi Karyalaya on 7th January, 2024. The initiative aimed to aid families affected by the recent floods in the region.
Essential provisions including rice, assorted groceries, mats, blankets, and footwear were distributed among 42 affected families. Mananeeya Sri Hanumantarao Ji, the All India Vice President of VRM & VK, and Sri. N. Krishnamoorthi Ji, the Editor of Vivekavani, a Tamil Monthly Magazine, and a senior Jeevanvrati Karyakartha graced the occasion and actively participated in distributing the relief materials to the affected families.
The coordination and arrangements for the program were handled by Sri. Paramaguruji, the Secretary of VK RDP Kovilpatti Branch, along with the dedicated efforts of Thoothukudi Karyakarthas Sri. Muthukumar Anna and Sri. Kallapiran Anna.
