Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch organised village union level Cultural Competitions for rural school students on 08th September 2023 at the Community Hall, Vallanadu - South, Karungulam Union, Thoothukudi District. Shri. Balamurugan ji, a Member of the Merchants Association Committee graced the occasion with his presence.
The competitions focused on themes associated with Swami Vivekananda and Indian culture. The main goal of these contests was to introduce and cultivate an understanding of Indian culture among the children. Totally 84 students from 7 schools participated in the competitions. Alongside Kendra karyakarthas, 6 teachers and 3 parents were also present at the program.
