Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Hebbal Nagar branch organized a one-day Bhraman to Thiruvannamalai on October 19, 2024, with 40 participants joining the trip.
Thiruvannamalai, a city rich in cultural and spiritual heritage in Tamil Nadu, is renowned for the Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple at the base of the sacred Mount Arunachala. During the Bhraman, participants embarked on a Girivalam (Giri Pradakshina) of 14 kilometers, a spiritual circumambulation of Mount Arunachala. Along this path, they visited the eight Ashta Lingams (lingams in eight directions) positioned around the sacred mount. The participants also had a wonderful darshan of Arulmigu Sri Arunachaleswarar and Arulmigu Unnamulai Amman, which was a spiritually enriching and uplifting experience for all.
