On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Solapur Branch and Jule Solapur Branch, jointly organized a Bharat Mata Aarti in front of the historic Mallikarjun Temple at Balives, Solapur, on 15th August 2026. The programme was held in a deeply patriotic atmosphere and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 95 local residents.
The programme commenced with the introductory remarks by Nagar Pramukh Sri Ravi Kantali, followed by the prayer led by Sri Sairam Bhandare. Smt. Harshada Swami and Smt. Shravani Maile performed the Bharat Mata Aarti, while Sri Ashutosh Horginmath rendered Vande Mataram. The programme was conducted by Sri Meghraj Hunche.
The programme was graced by the presence of Nagar Sevika Smt. Aishwarya Sakhare, Sri Rajshekhar Hirehabbu, senior dignitary associated with the Shri Siddheshwar Yatra, Sri Somnath Mengane, Sri Auje Kaka, Nagar Sah-Sanchalak Sri Pentappa Gaddam, Sri Mahesh Gonjari, Prant Sampark Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra Smt. Sandhya Patil, Amrit Parivar Pramukh Sri Shriram Joshi, Sri Suhas Deshpande, and Sri Vikas Kulkarni.
A large number of Vivekananda Kendra Karyakartas and local residents participated in the programme. The devotional atmosphere was further enhanced by the collective Bharat Mata Aarti and enthusiastic patriotic slogans, creating a strong sense of national pride and unity among the participants.
The programme concluded on a high patriotic note, reaffirming the spirit of devotion towards Bharat Mata and strengthening the bond of national unity among the participants.
