On Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Hebbal Nagar Branch, organized an Amrit Parivar programme to celebrate Gita Jayanti. The event was held at the Kendra Karyalaya in Hebbal from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with 50 participants, including 25 children.
Karnataka Vibhag Pramukh, Sri Prasadji, addressed the gathering, speaking on the significance of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and the importance of Gita Jayanti. He also engaged with the children, parents, and grandparents, explaining the concept of Amrit Parivar and its relevance.
The participants were formed into groups for discussions. Two Amrit Parivar Sankuls were formed, named ‘Panchavati’ and ‘Samanvaya.’ Plans for these Sankuls were shared and discussed in detail. The event concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana.
