Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari : Branch Surat organized “VIMARSH” for the intellectuals of Surat on 29th September’13 at Auditorium, Science Center, City Light Road, Surat. In this Program Approx. 360 intellectuals are participated.
The Program was started with Three Omkar chanting & prayers being recited. After that “VIMARSH” was intro-duced along with an insight to the Vivekananda Kendra.After that patriotic song singing (Nav Chaitnya Hillore Leta Jag Uthi hai Tarunayi).
The song was followed by a lecture on the topic “The crisis of National Security” by Major General Shri G.D.Bakshi (M.Phil in Strategic Studies and Master Degree in Defense Science, Major Contribution during the Kargil war and towards terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir)
Major General Shri G.D.Bakshi Mentioned in his lecture that there are a lot of changes happening all over India. And the youth of Gujarat play a important role in the change. During the War of Independence also, Gujarat has played a vital role. Today there are great challenges in front of humanity all over the world, so we have to Arise! Awake!! Today our country is facing problems from neighboring countries and our government is irresponsible towards national security. And in his lecture he covered point as given below..
