This is the first month of the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. VK-nardep has planned to create a series on how ecological thoughts are integral and implicit in Swami Vivekananda's worldview.
Over 2100 students from 42 schools participated in the competitive examination conducted by Vivekananda Kendra Dombivali Branch. The examination was based on the “Katha Vivekanandanchya” (Marathi) and “Incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda”, and its prize distribution program was held on 8th December 2012 at Dombivali.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kanyakumari celebrated the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade as Sadhana Diwas on 19th November, 2012. The school also organized a science and arts exhibition which concluded on that that day.
