Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch organized Universal Brotherhood Day programme at G.Venkataswamy Naidu College, Kovilpatti on 11th September, 2023. Around 300 students of the college were part of the programme.
Universal Brotherhood Day is celebrated to commemorate the message of Universal Brotherhood given by Swami Vivekananda at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago on September 11, 1893. This notable day signifies the occasion when Bharat's message to humanity was proudly proclaimed once again.
In this programme, Professor Shri. P. Chandrasekaran, Director of Sri Sarada College for Women graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Also, the Principal of GVN College, Professor of Physical Education, Kendra well-wishers and Karyakarthas participated in the programme.
