Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Karnataka Prant, Hebbal Branch successfully conducted its first weekly Veda class on February 8, 2026, at the Vivekananda School of Yoga, Hebbal Kempapura, held between 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. A total of 40 participants attended the session.
The classes were inaugurated by Pujyaniya Bhakthi Priya Mataji, a renowned saint from the Gangotri Himalayas, in the august presence of Aadaraneeya Lalita Didi, Karnataka Prant Sanghatak, and Smt. Remya Ajith, Vedic Instructor, on 1st February 2026. The classes are being conducted under the expert guidance of the esteemed Vedic scholar Aacharasri M. R. Rajesh ji of the Kashyapa Veda Research Foundation.
Smt. Remya Ajith Ji conducted the classes, the topic of the first session was focused on the profound themes of Guru Mahima, the sacred Guru-Shishya Parampara, and Guru Vandana. Participants were deeply engaged as they were taught the traditional Guru Vandana shlokas, marking a meaningful beginning to this spiritual journey.
The class set a profound tone for future weekly gatherings, reinforcing the Kendra's commitment to preserving and disseminating ancient Vedic knowledge.
