Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Guruvayur Branch, organized the Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day Celebration at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mayannur, Thrissur, on 13th January 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event witnessed an active participation of 456 attendees, including 450 students and six teachers.
The program was graced by the presence of Shri Govindankutty ji, Kendra Karyakarta from Ottapalam, along with Adarneeya Sri Raghunathan ji, Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari.
Sri Raghunathan ji delivered an inspiring speech that motivated the students to uphold the spirit of Bharat’s rich culture and embrace the value of service. Drawing from incidents in Swami Vivekananda’s life, he emphasized the importance of self-confidence and fearlessness as essential traits for achieving success in life.
He also provided the students with a brief overview of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, and its mission to serve society by spreading Swami Vivekananda’s message.
The event was a meaningful and motivating experience for all participants, leaving them with a deeper understanding of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and their relevance in today’s world.
