On the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Branch, organized state-level essay writing competitions across various educational institutions. A total of 267 students from 31 colleges participated, with the support of 43 professors and 7 karyakartas.
The prize distribution ceremonies for the competitions were held on 17th December 2024 at two locations: Govt First Grade College, Gajendragad, and Govt First Grade College, Hulkoti, both in the Gadag district. Prof. Sri Siddesh ji graced the events as the Chief Guest, while Adharneeya Sri Ashokji presided over the programs at both venues.
During the ceremonies, students and professors expressed interest in hosting a Yuva Shibir (Youth Camp) in February 2025. Additionally, 10 students from these colleges volunteered to contribute their time and efforts as part of the Vivekananda Kendra’s seva activities.
