Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar Branch organized the 10th International Day of Yoga program at four locations, with a total participation of 591 people.
A program was organized at the regular Yoga Varga in MS Convent School, RT Nagar, from 5:45 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. Eleven Karyakarthas and students participated in celebrating the International Day of Yoga.
Additionally, the International Day of Yoga programs were conducted at three schools. In Ashraya School, the International Day of Yoga program was conducted for the first time. After the event, the school management requested the Kendra to conduct Samskara activities on the school premises. These activities are planned to start in July.
In Mamtha School, young Kendra Karyakarthas, who are studying in the 10th standard, conducted the International Day of Yoga for 300 students under the instruction of Ma. Purushotham Ji.
In the Government School in Manorayana Palya, children who participate in Samskara Varga and Bhajan Sandhya were requested to involve their teachers and fellow students to be part of the Kendra. Among the three schools, an International Day of Yoga quiz was conducted for the students of two schools, with 420 students participating.
