The Swasthya Seva Manch of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh organized free medical camps in Changlang and East Kameng districts from 5th to 9th April 2022. Camps were organized at New Longkey, Saimu, Balijan, Khachang and Phanyak villages of Changlang and Bana, Pabua, Pakoti and Seppa Township of East Kameng. 916 patients were examined during the camps and free medicines were given to the needy patients. 13 dental procedures were done. Following Doctors from Nagpur rendered their voluntary services during the camps-

One Medical Social Worker, Smt. Ashwini Girhe also accompanied the team. She and Dr. Mrudula Bapat were engaged in our Swasthya Rakshak training camp where 11 youths from Changlang, Tirap, Longding and Namsai participated. They taught the youths about basic health and hygiene, first-aid, anemia, infectious diseases, village health survey etc.
The participation of the youths as volunteers especially in Seppa area is very encouraging. The villagers of the above mentioned villages are very happy to get services of specialist and highly experienced Doctors at their doorsteps.
