Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch organised Cultural Competitions for rural school students on 26th August 2023 at Nadar Uravin Murai Primary School, Vasudevanallur, Tenkasi. Sri. Thavamani, The Head of Nadar Uravin Murai Primary School graced the occasion with his presence.
Many competitions were conducted on the topics related to Swami Vivekananda and Indian culture. The primary objective of these competitions is to introduce and foster an appreciation for Indian culture among the children. Totally 206 students from 17 schools participated in the competitions. Alongside Kendra karyakarthas & Kendra well-wishers, 37 teachers and 5 parents were also present at the program.
