Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch organised Cultural Competitions for rural school students on 21st August 2023 at Vyabarigal Aiykya Sanga Thirumana Mandapam, Arumuganeri, Tiruchendur. Shri. Balamurugan ji, a Member of the Merchants Association Committee graced the occasion with his presence.
The competitions focused on themes associated with Swami Vivekananda and Indian culture. The main goal of these contests was to introduce and cultivate an understanding of Indian culture among the children. Totally 130 students from 9 schools participated in the competitions. Alongside Kendra karyakarthas, 13 teachers and 5 parents were also present at the program.
