Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, organized an Amrit Parivar Training programme for the Kendra karyakarthas of Assam Prant. The one-day training program took place at Williamson Magor Auditorium, VKIC, Guwahati, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2024. A total of 38 karyakarthas from various vibhags, nagars, prakalpas (projects), and VKVs within Assam Prant participated in the training.
Aadharneeya Sri Nandalal Joshi Ji, a member of the All India Team of Family Enlightenment, guided the training. Aadharneeya Sri Susomoy Purkayastha Ji, Assam Prant Amrit Parivar Pramukh, VRM & VK, also graced the program with his presence. Assam Prant Sangathak, Aadharneeya Alka Gauri Joshi Didi, explained the formation of Sankuls and the importance of the Amrit Parivar program and Gita Jayanti celebration.
A session on ‘Games for Amrit Parivar’ was also included in the program, and all karyakarthas enthusiastically engaged themselves in the games and enjoyed the session.
Aadharneeya Sri Nandalal Joshi Ji elucidated the duties of an Amrit Parivar through a song, “Ghar Ghar Anand Ayega, Har Har Mangal Chayega…”. He emphasized that “the family is not a platform; it is a system.” He also highlighted that every family should have positive thoughts, and everyone's mind should always be joyful and satisfied.
The training concluded with the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana.
