“Of all created things, the loveliest, and the most divine are children”
Children’s Day was celebrated in VKV – Kanyakumari on 14th Nov- 2011. Science and Art Exhibition was inaugurated in the same day, which will continue till Nov-19th.
The Children’s Day program was started by an invocation. The gathering was welcomed wholeheartedly. The oration about the importance of children’s day was presented by Hema of IX Std. She insited that “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future”. The Handwritten Magazine was released by the chief guest Prof. A. Mariakuttikan, M.Sc; M.Phil, Vivekananda College, Agasteeswaram, followed by his address. He also gave a stirring speech and the important line which stroke our mind was that don’t put of the work till tomorrow, what you can do today. The group song was sung by VI Std students and that flood of music gave peace to the agitated mind. Sri. Man. Hanumanta Raoji, Treasurer, VRM & VK, was the special guest. He blessed school children with his fruitful speech and he honoured our guest with a moments.
Finally, everyone was thanked by Haritha of VII Std and the festivity was concluded by Kendra Prathana.
