The Ziro Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) School on November 22 released the first volume of its souvenir called ‘Harmony, Vol-I’ compiled and written by the Orators’ Club of the school. The souvenir was released by Yachang Tacho, editor of The Subansiri weekly news paper here in a glittering function.
Appreciating the club members and teachers for taking pain in bringing out the souvenir successfully, Tacho said that such piece of works will enhance creativity of the students and will remain as treasure of information and knowledge.
Mentioning several former VKV students, who achieved success in their lives, he asked the students to be serious in their studies and work hard. He also encouraged them to get specialized in a particular field or discipline instead of becoming a jack of all trades.
Highlighting the present unemployment problem being faced in the State where scope of getting government job is fading day by day, Tacho advised the students to work sincerely so that they do not face the problem in future.
Later, he distributed the prizes to winner of literary competitions.
Earlier, Anand Mohan Mishra, School Principal in his welcome address had briefed on formation of Orator Club in the school and its functionaries.
