Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti conducted two Medical Camps in Lazu circle of Tirap district recently. On 13th August the camp was organized at Barap, where the patients from Sinnu, Raho, Longliang ,Langchen and Barap were examined and free medicines were distributed among the patients. The number of patients were 128. On 14th August 69 patients were examined at Pongkong village and medicines were distributed.
The Jogen Basumatary Memorial Vivekananda Kendra Hospital, Shuklai, Dist- Baksa, BTAD, Assam recently conducted one ENT camp at the Hospital premises. The camp was inaugurated on 14th June 2013 by the local EM, Sri Ganesh Kachari. Man.Pravinji, the All India Joint General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari graced the inaugural programme.

INAUGURATION OF APPROACH ROAD
The approach road of VKV, Suklai was inaugurated on 25th April, 2012 by Sri Ganesh Kachari, EM, BTAD.
WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS/PARENTS
Her Holiness Swamini Pramananda, fondly known as ‘Ammaji’, a highly regarded teacher of Vedanta and a spiritual guide, visited VKV Tinsukia during first week of May 2012 and conducted workshop/spiritual retreat for teachers and parents.
VK, Shimla branch organised a free Homoeopathic medical camp in its premises on 20/5/12 Sunday with sponsorship from Prof. S.R.Mehrotra, Retd. Professor in History, H.P.University, Shimla. Dr. Poonam Sood, D.H.M.S. from Rammandir Market treated the patients. About 43 patients got benefit from this camp. All the patients were given free medicine also.
