Vivekananda Kendra Chinchwad conducted a Inter-school Patriotic song competition.A large number of schools to participate for this event. The complete atmosphere here was mesmerised with beautiful songs sung by the students.

Maharshi Veda Vyasa’s jayanti which is celebrated as Gurupornima, falls on Ashadh Pornima according to Hindu calendar. This year it was on 22nd July. Swami Vivekananda envisaged the temples of ‘OM’ all over, where all will come together and work for the betterment of the humanity. Vivekananda Kendra is an instrument to translate Swamiji’s message in reality.

One day shibir "Pariksha de Haste Haste" was conducted at Gurukul Chikhli, Pune on 28th Jun 2013. this Shibir was conducted for students for Std. IX and X. there were 48 participants present.

Yuva Prerana Shibir was held at Devrukh ( Ratnagiri) in Aathale-Sapre-Pitre college of Arts, Commerce and Science on 3rd Feb.2013. 76 students from different nearby colleges attended the camp. In this camp students performed Suryanamaskaras, games,they were made aware about challenges in front of the nation, their root cause and response through group discussion.
