INAUGURATION OF APPROACH ROAD
The approach road of VKV, Suklai was inaugurated on 25th April, 2012 by Sri Ganesh Kachari, EM, BTAD.
WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS/PARENTS
Her Holiness Swamini Pramananda, fondly known as ‘Ammaji’, a highly regarded teacher of Vedanta and a spiritual guide, visited VKV Tinsukia during first week of May 2012 and conducted workshop/spiritual retreat for teachers and parents.
Samartha - A yoga module for teacher orientation was conducted by Vivekananda Kendra on 22nd and 23rd September 2012 at Changlang. 31 teachers from various Government Schools of Changlang participated in this two day camp which included interaction with Power Point Presentation, some yogic micro-exercises and lighter moments. The two days camp was inaugurated by Shri John Jugli, ZPM of Changlang. Smt. Barnalee Hazarika, a resource person from Tinsukia conducted the interactive sessions.

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti (VKAJ), Itanagar has Celebrated “Universal brotherhood Day” at VKAJ, Vivek Vihar, Itanagar. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Narayana Yadav, (Vice-Principal, VKV Vivek Vihar), Spoke about the history of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago address of 1893 World Parliament of Religions and briefly explained the actual meaning of ‘Brotherhood’.
"विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा-ईटानगर द्वारा पांच दिवसीय कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण शिबिर का आयोजिन 18 से 22 अगस्त 2012, विवेकनन्द केन्द्र विद्यालय, निर्जुली में सम्पन्न हुआ। शिविर का प्रारंभ भजन संध्या से किया गया। श्री कल्याण दत्त, नगर प्रमुख - ईटानगर, द्वारा "मनुष्य निर्माण से राष्ट्रपुनरुत्थान" विषय पर कार्यकतोंओं को बताया कि त्याग यानि मनुष्य ओर सेवा यानि राष्ट्र ऐसे मनुष्यों का निर्माण करना जो भारतमाता के लिए कार्य करता रहे।

The whole month witnessed a series of organised efforts to plan, re- visit the goals set with the guidance of Kendra Elders, taking stock of the activities conducted so far, analysing the exam results of Class X & XII and finalising the activities for the 150th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Vivekananda Kendra Arunachal Prant organized a two days workshop for teachers at Chongkham of Lohit District on 18th and 19th August 2012. The workshop –SAMARTH- a yoga module is developed by Vivekananda Kendra,Kanyakumari. 48 teachers from various private schools of Chongkham and Namsai participated in this workshop at Chaunanda Memorial School, Chongkham.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust organised 3 day Teachers orientation camp for Mathematics Teachers on 28th to 30th July at VKV- Nirjuli. 50 selected teachers from various VKVs have participated in the three day residential camp. Dr.P.K.Chaurasia, Assistant Professor of the Department of Education in Science and Mathematics, NCERT was the resource persons for the camp.
